Banana Blueberry Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

  1. Greek or nonfat plain yogurt (Greek yogurt is thicker and higher in protein)
  2. fresh or frozen banana
  3. fresh or frozen blueberries
  4. protein powder

PREPARATION

  1. 1Combine 6 oz yogurt with 1 fresh or ¾ cup frozen banana, ¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  2. 2Add to blender or food processor to puree.
  3. 3Use full fat yogurt for kids under 2, low-fat or non-fat for older kids and adults
  4. 4For older kids and parents looking for extra protein, add a scoop of whey or other protein to the shake.

Guacamole

1 Ripe avocado
2 Tbsp pico de gallo (or make your own: finely chopped onions, tomato, cilantro, jalapeños-1/2 Tbsp each or amounts to your liking)
